Photo proof your adjuster can verify

Timestamped. Located. Tamper-evident.

Insurance photos get disputed on three questions: when was it taken, where, and has it been edited? Trustamp answers all three with a credential your adjuster can check independently — no Trustamp account needed.

From the scene to the claim file

Three steps, built for documentation that has to hold up.

Capture on site

Shoot the damage. Trustamp stamps a server-verified time and your real GPS — so the "when and where" is locked from the first second.

Witnessed instantly

The time and location are registered with our server at capture — never the photo, and no fingerprint of it. The image stays on your phone until you file.

File with proof

When you submit the claim, generate a public verify link and a PDF. The adjuster confirms the date, location, and that the photo wasn't altered after capture.

Why it holds up

The details adjusters and lawyers actually ask about.

Time

Server-verified timestamp

The credential's clock is our server, not your phone — a wrong or spoofed device time can't change it.

Location

Honest GPS

Country, city, and street are locked to your real location. Fine detail is refinable — and every refinement is noted on the credential.

Integrity

Tamper-evident

Turn on C2PA and an open Content Credential is sealed into the photo at capture, so any later edit is detectable in Adobe, Chrome, or any C2PA tool.

Export

Adjuster-ready PDF

Pro exports a clean PDF plus a public verify URL — drop both into the claim file and let the adjuster check for themselves.

Frequently asked

How do I prove to an insurance adjuster that a photo is real?

Trustamp records a server-verified timestamp and your real GPS at the moment of capture, anchored to our server. When you file, you get a public verify link and a PDF an adjuster can check independently — confirming the date and place without needing the Trustamp app. For the image itself, turn on C2PA: the photo carries an open Content Credential that Adobe Verify or Chrome can check to confirm it wasn't edited after capture.

How does an adjuster verify a Trustamp photo?

Two independent checks, neither needs the Trustamp app. For when and where, they open the public verify link (or the PDF's QR): it shows the server-anchored capture time and location, with a code issued before the shot so it can't be back-dated. For the image, if you enabled C2PA, they drop the file into Adobe Verify or Chrome and confirm the Content Credential — proof the pixels weren't edited after capture.

What stops someone from faking the timestamp or location?

The timestamp comes from our server clock, not your phone — so a wrong or spoofed device time does not change the credential. Country, city, and street are derived from your real GPS and are locked; only fine detail like a unit or doorplate number can be refined, and every refinement is transparently noted on the credential.

Is the photo verifiable outside Trustamp?

Yes, when you turn on C2PA. Trustamp builds on the open C2PA standard, so the Content Credential embedded in the photo can be read by Adobe Verify, Chrome, Photoshop and other C2PA-aware tools. Note: while our C2PA Trust List application is in progress, those tools will read the credential and confirm the image's integrity but mark the issuer as not-yet-on-the-trust-list.
